I miss my mama's hugs. Usually, when I go back home from laguna, the first thing that I would do--as if triggered by instinct and some longing--is to hug mama whatever her condition is: wet of washing clothes, sick of stress, smelly of sauteeing onions and garlic, etc. No matter how independent I think I am when outside our home, mama's soft arms and warm embrace reminds me of how vulnerable I am but how I am protected and secured by her. I love that feeling. although sometimes I feel like I am keeping myself from advancing to another level of maturity when I always wanted to hold on to that little girl attitude nurtured by mama.
wow..riza..i didnt see that senti side of you when i was in lb..
